Compiler target features and function multiversioning.
| #define hint_target | ( | x | ) | __attribute__((target(x))) |
Compile a function with the named target features.
The compiler interprets the target string. This annotation does not test the running CPU: callers must establish that the required features are available. Compiler-specific function multiversioning can also use it on supported targets. It is not a portable runtime dispatcher.
| #define hint_target_clones | ( | ... | ) | __attribute__((target_clones(__VA_ARGS__))) |
Request compiler-generated target variants and a runtime resolver.
Target strings, available platforms, linkage and template restrictions follow the compiler's target_clones attribute.
